Manufacturing
Our client in the outdoor living manufacturing business needed a way to manage material inventory, cutting, sewing and stuffing orders, as well as final warehouse inventory. Interfaces with legacy systems allowed for links to their accounting and invoicing systems, for a fully stream-lined ERP customized to their requirements. All web-based, at a fraction of the price of other solutions.
Telecommunications
This multinational leader in mobile devices/smartphones was looking for a better way to manage their device library. An existing Oracle infrastructure led the way for an APEX pilot project with multiple levels of user access, workflow including email notifications for device reservations and waitlists, and interactive reports. The project was so successful and quick to rollout that a number of additional projects are now in the works! All the work for this project was conducted remotely, using GoToMeeting for regular updates.
Culture
Over the last three years, Laureston Solutions has been creating and supporting several APEX applications for one of Canada’s largest public libraries. One of the applications was a sophisticated, dynamic online reporting solution that allowed end users to build custom reports against an Oracle database, with a WYSIWYG APEX user interface, customized and fully formatted Excel outputs, and BI Publisher reports.
Medical Research
Laureston Solutions has long been providing Oracle APEX consulting services to one of Canada’s leading Research Institutes. Custom applications to manage investigator access to financial statements, research space and equipment management, interfaces to numerous legacy systems including payroll and external agencies, have allowed research administrators to finally have access to data from numerous sources, all brought together using Oracle APEX.
